in the mood for love

Today was a cold, lazy Sunday. In LA cold means.. oh, mid-60's. I cuddled up with my pink fleece blanket, a cup of green tea, and "In the Mood for Love," a Hong Kong movie featuring Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung. Her dresses are AMAZING! and the set is just so sexy. She looks so perfect in all her scenes, and I totally envy her costumes. ah! Watch the movie!




and I'm now out of tissue! booo sickness and tear jerking movies

Emily and I shop online together sometimes (usually for shoes, usually flats) and link each other our fabulous finds. These Cynthia Vincent tuxedo flats she linked me have been bugging me for a while! They're SO simple but so cuuuute! And L told me they were on WhoWhatWearDaily too! ZOMG. And after E's suggestion that I make them myself... here's my attempt.

OHHHOOO! Today I went to Resident Runway, a competition where UCLA students recycle clothes from Goodwill to make a "Winter in LA" themed outfit. JOYCE from my floor competed! Props for your "hobo chic" design! AND GUESS WHO WAS THE HOST!?!!?!?!?

I haven't been blogging, or even reading blogs for a while. That may be for the best though. I'm SO SO SO excited to go home for thanksgiving! Even if I don't get to see friends, I'll enjoy HARDWOOD FLOORS and BARE FEET, chinese home cooked meals and boba, my FULL size bed, flowers, and hopefully really good shopping.
