But Samantha feels most at home going out with the downtown crowd, and when she meets Whitney through Diane von Furstenberg, the two become fast friends. Sami is a down-to-earth girl in a high-class world, but she always manages to find herself in the center of the storm.

THE CITY= true life Lil Jenny Humphrey, torn between upper east side Olivia and downtown Jay. And because Olivia is SUCH a Blair, I love her already. Jay's cute, but reminds me a little much of Justin Bobby's scraggly downtown scruffiness, which is not to be trusted! Naive lil Whit, trust no one but Erin, beware Olivia's disgusting, Chuck Bass-like cousin, learn Heidi's lesson-- say no to Spencers!

My family had a very Mexican holiday in Cabo! Be reminded, this is where Spencer and Heidi were married. We actually rented snorkling and kayaking gear from a kiosk right in front of Spencer and Heidi's hotel (where Spencer got Heidi drunk enough to agree to marry him) ! The scandal!

But now that I'm back in the city, I've settled back into old habits: organizing my room, getting my fishies to make babies, eating, friending, facebooking. I don't miss school. I especially do not miss Z who will all but rape you, man or woman. I do not miss chem lectures, ratty dorm carpeting, mildew covered showers, lack of cozy seating, lack of privacy.
I DO miss 1000 calorie beef nachos from Rendevous though! :)

I'm re-watching GG season 1 right now and I'm really annoyed that the costume department put Blair in the completely identical outfit for both Thanksgiving episodes! WHY!!!! Blair would NEVER do that!

Remember when Heidi was a cute, sweet looking Colorado girl turned Lauren Conrad's best friend during season 1 of The Hills? Heidi told US Weekly in 2007 that...

“I’ve always been very insecure about my body. My whole life, I looked at my chest and was like, OK, they’re going to grow. This is my year! And it never happened. I was less than an A-cup. I wore pushup bras, which cut into my skin. If I was with a guy and there was a girl next to me with big boobs, I would be like, Oh, my God, he’s looking at her! And this is Heidi post-op. Notice: she went from A-cup to C-cup (do they need skin grafts for something like that? or does the boob skin stretch?), the nose job (which transformed her previously HUGE nose into this more acceptable one), the lip injections, and what Tess and I think is a chin reduction. Now Heidi looks just downright nasty, even more so with her wildly unattractive and unemployed hubby Spencer totting along.

Audrina!!! Crazy assssss girl who accused Lauren of hooking up with Justin Bobby two episodes ago, for sure had a boob job.

But now Lily is gonna get with Rufus and which will make Dan and Serena AND Chuck some sort of weird family (with benefits?!). Then if Jenny hooks up with Nate ever again, the family will just grow some more. and thaaat is so disgusting.

Today was a cold, lazy Sunday. In LA cold means.. oh, mid-60's. I cuddled up with my pink fleece blanket, a cup of green tea, and "In the Mood for Love," a Hong Kong movie featuring Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung. Her dresses are AMAZING! and the set is just so sexy. She looks so perfect in all her scenes, and I totally envy her costumes. ah! Watch the movie!

I haven't been blogging, or even reading blogs for a while. That may be for the best though. I'm SO SO SO excited to go home for thanksgiving! Even if I don't get to see friends, I'll enjoy HARDWOOD FLOORS and BARE FEET, chinese home cooked meals and boba, my FULL size bed, flowers, and hopefully really good shopping.

Good weather for me is mid 70s, when I can basically wear whatever and feel comfortable. I woke up at 7:50 to hit the Ackerman MONSTER sale with B and T. Clearance was 50% off and all other UCLA gear was 25% off. I only needed one shirt, but ended up buying some Burts Bees Res-Q that B says smells like his grandma, a folder, mini sharpie, and some other junk. ohh shopping bliss!

I went back to sleep at 9, forgot to set my alarm, woke up from a text at 12:30 (THANKS), put this on, ran to get coffee, aaand ran to my 1pm class. whew!

I don't know what you guys think about the "leggings as pants" debate, but I do know today's fit was hella comfortable. And even though I thought I'd be self concious about my butt, I wasn't!
Changed into this for night cause it got windy.. going for the equestrian look ya know? HEHE these are Serena's Chinese Laundry boots on Gossip Girl season 1!

We spent about an hour playing around with the straps and taking pictures, when she should have been studying for her psych midterm and writing a paper. OH yeah, I guess you can see bits of my tiny room too. On the left is the bunk bed, on the right is my loft/desk/closet. I'm not much of a thrifter, but a recent trip to a Goodwill in Santa Monica changed all that. C, M, K, and I took the bus about 20 min to a shadier part of town, but it was definitely worth it. And by shady i mean.. LA shady, like hella metal fences, wide streets, homeless people, and jewish thrift stores. HA just kidding, it wasnt bad. I emerged from the Goodwill with this leather belt, blazer, skirt, the vase in post previous, and a killer allergy attack. All for under $16. :)
I want to change the buttons on this blazer, maybe after midterms.
